Metropolitan Public Safety now has Taser Certified Instructors. On Thursday, January 25, 2007 and Friday, January 26, 2007, Lt. George Clay, Sgt. Thanh Nguyen and Ofc. Ryan Hartigan attended Taser Internationals "Law Enforcement and Corrections Instructors Academy" held in El Cerrito, California. All three have received their certifications and have also received their Civilian Instructor endorsements. Our thanks to the El Cerrito Police Department for hosting this event.
